My 33 was both painful and delightful. Life pushed me to grow into an adult without ever having read the handbook. Yet, I feel deeply grateful for the presence of my closest people, who have given me endless support. Cheers to the twin age!

1. I broke my phone while traveling. Thankfully, I had a second one with me, but the WhatsApp chat was empty, like a blank sheet of paper. Strangely, I felt light and peaceful, as if it was an unexpected reset I didn’t know I needed.

2. A lesson I learned while sorting my travel photos: I wish I had taken more videos than pictures. That was a gem.

3. Acne scars are taking longer to fade away :( plus more wrinkles.

4. Also, I can't do a 2-day overseas trip anymore. It's too short and my body cant' keep up. 

5. There was a moment when I got so pissed I couldn’t even complain anymore. I think that was my highest level of being pissed.

6. Decision fatigue is real. So many things to remember.

7. I’m thankful for all the advice I receive, but I have learned that I don’t need to follow every single one.

8. I have learned that working from home isn’t my cup of tea. I prefer meeting people in person.

9. Someone can be a priority, and then not anymore, and vice versa.

10. Everyone has its own struggle. Be kind, bitte.

11. Stick with people who vibe the same way.

12. When someone treats you badly or has misconception about you, let them, and move on. No need to explain ourselves to the world.

13. Trust your gut. Always. They lead you into the right pathway. 

14. Going to therapy was the best decision I made this year.

15. I have been journaling more, and it feels great, not only to pour out my feelings, but also to look back and read these old stories. 

16. When feeling stuck, go outside, see the world!

17. I really don't like it when someone said "Oke nanti gw kabarin" but doesn't keep the promise.

18. So, I need to remind myself, over and over again, to practice STOICISM.

19. Never too late to chase our dreams. Even when we think it's totally impossible.

20. Be on the right side of history.

Saking frustasinya, hampir semua kontak bbm gue chat “Hey, long weekend kemana?” Balesannya beragam. Ada yang hiking, tanding olim, jemput pacar, beresin kosan, dan ada yang ngedokem di rumah aja. Celebrating Failures

Yesterday was such a long day at work. My team has been working on a major survey, set to launch next week. After work, I planned to work a little bit on my garden. The chili seedlings need to be moved into bigger pots as they already grow big. I was just stretching myself and then ready for gardening when an email came. It was from the Ireland Scholarship. I haven’t opened it yet, but tears welled up. I was kind of shocked because the announcement came a month earlier, and my emotional state was not ready yet. Also, I realize my chance of getting a scholarship is slim. I have failed. Again. This becomes my 16th attempt since I started pursuing scholarship opportunities in 2018, and might be the last one. Looking back at my relentless efforts over the past six years, I have been contemplating a lot recently. Should I try again? Or stop and move on? Deep inside, I still want to try it. The Art of Friendship - Virgo

Dari semua orang terdekat, mungkin persahabatan sama Virgo adalah yang paling bikin heran. Kaya, Kok bisa gua temenan sama Virgo? Karena Virgo ini anaknya super duper pinter banget—yang mana gua engga. Tapi, apapun itu, gua sangat bersyukur bisa kenal Virgo di hidup gua dan sahabatan sampai sekarang. Kami sekolah di tempat yang sama dari SMP sampai kuliah. Sekelas pas tahun terakhir SMP, tapi Virgo selalu sama geng anak pintarnya. Nah, kayanya baru lumayan deket itu pas SMA, karena surprisingly selama tiga tahun kami dapet kelas yang sama terus (tiap tahun diacak). Setelah kenal deket, ternyata Virgo anaknya sangat approachable dan humble. Kalau flashback, ternyata banyak juga momen bareng kami pas SMA. Mulai dari memuja boyband Korea yang saat itu lagi heboh-hebohnya, sampai tiga tahun berturut-turut masuk final Gabolisma (2x juara, 1x runner-up).
